On March 28th, 2026 Babymoon will screen along other short films for the Indie Night Film Festival at the historic Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, California. Raymond, who in addition to co-directing the film, penned the screenplay, serves audiences an entertaining blend of action and comedy that showcases the potential success of a feature length adaptation easily imagined on networks like Netflix, HBO, TUBI, or Amazon Prime. At the same time the film highlights a diverse cast, both behind and in front of the camera, signifying the continued ascension of Black, brown, and other marginalized creative communities taking their rightful place in Hollywood, the South-West, and beyond.

Babymoon serves as SJ ALEXANDER’S first producer credit, and as part of the producer team, SJ ALEXANDER continues to support the filmmakers and the success of the film as it makes its run through the festival circuit and more.
